Tom Rogers — Senior Advisor · Transition Mandates

Tom Rogers co-founded the Laurel Flying Service Inc. with Scott Rogers in 1976, when it opened its doors in Laurel, Mississippi — and he has been part of every era of the company since. Today, based in Atlanta, Tom leads Amjet Aviation's Transition Mandates:  the representation of aircraft outside the flagship category when a client's move up requires it. When an owner steps out of the aircraft they fly today and into a flagship, the aircraft they leave behind deserves the same care as the one they are acquiring. Tom conducts that sale under the same single mandate, the same fourteen-day principal-first distribution, and the same discretion as every Amjet engagement — marketed with full effort on the platforms where its buyers actually search. Like every Amjet mandate, transition engagements operate under the direct oversight of the firm's senior leadership.

His aviation experience spans over 50 years, with in-depth knowledge of domestic and international transactions. His expertise includes managing aircraft sales processes and documentation and taking the lead on many of our more significant business jet transactions from initial viewing to subsequent successful closings.

He previously held the position of Vice President of Laurel Flying Service, Inc., related to Amjet Aviation's orgins. He earned bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in Information Management Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi. In addition, he earned a private pilot certificate logging more than 2000 flight hours.
